products liability lawyers houston texas

A defective product can cause serious injury or death. We are experienced in representing clients that have been injured or killed as a result of the use of or exposure to unsafe products.

We have represented people harmed as a result of defective sandblasting tools, equipment not properly ground causing electrocution, and heavy equipment accidents causing severe injuries and death.

Chemical Exposure—Reactive Airway Disease, Pneumonitis, Sensitization

Exposure to certain types of chemicals can cause lung injuries, including Reactive Airways Dysfunction Syndrome (RADS), Chemical Pneumonitis, Chemical Bronchitis and Lung Sensitization.

Silicosis

Silicosis is a disabling and potentially fatal lung disease caused by breathing in silica dust. Overexposure to fine silica dust can cause Silicosis or a silica-related disease such as Silicotuberculosis, lung cancer, and autoimmune diseases including scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.

Car and Truck Accidents

We handle car and truck accidents that result in serious injury or death.

Railroad (FELA) and Jones Act Claims

Injured railroad workers are protected by the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA). Longshoremen and merchant seamen who are injured working at sea are protected by Longshore and Harbor Workers Act and the Jones Act. We concentrate on assisting workers who were injured on the job.

Levaquin

Levaquin (levofloxacin) is an antibiotic used primarily to treat lung, sinus, skin and urinary tract infections. On July 8, 2008, the FDA announced that it would require a Black Box Warning on Levaquin to inform patients of the risk of tendon rupture. A black box warning is the most serious leveled by the FDA and is reserved for those drugs that carry a significant risk of serious adverse effects.
